Knowledge is Action

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

“Regardless of how much knowledge
you might acquire,
you are still ignorant
without action —

You would be neither scholar nor learned,
but an animal carrying books.

A donkey doesn’t know whether it’s carrying books
or firewood.”

Obama: The next War President?

Saturday, March 10th, 2007

Obama the zionistAccording to this report, Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has “not ruled out” the possibility of military attacks against Iran. Using similar language to Bush’s, he even borrowed contradictory phrases such as “aggressive diplomacy” to describe how he would deal with Iran.

Well, here’s a hint, Barack, I don’t think threats of military attacks or aggressive rhetoric qualify as genuine diplomacy, and Iran is well aware of that.

Obama said all of this at a pro-Israel rally, where he mentioned his unconditional support for the Zionist state, with no mention of the Palestinians at all. One zionist even hugged him afterwards. To that end, it seems that he is carrying the position of most democrats: that the Iraq war was wrong, not because of the moral implications or the loss of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi lives, but because America is losing.

Well, here’s another piece of news that might come as a shocker to you, Obama, America will lose even more horrifically to Iran, a loss from which the U.S. (and the world) might never recover.

If and when I do decide to vote, it will be a for candidate who calls for peace, real, lasting peace, not conditional peace with zionist strings attached.

Prophetic Attributes of Imam al-Mahdi

Sunday, March 4th, 2007

Al-Mahdi in Granada caligraphySa‘íd ibn Jubayr reported, “I heard the saying of ‘Alí ibn al-Husayn, ‘There are many attributes (sunnah) of six prophets in our al-Qàim: Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Job and Muhammad [peace be upon them]. As for the attribute from Noah, it is long life, from Abraham, it is having a hidden birth and being separated from the people, from Moses, it is fear and absence, from Jesus, it is the disagreement of people about him, from Job, it is release after suffering and from Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), it is going out with the sword.
